We at Maple Leaf Lutheran Church love to meet our neighbors, support others and enjoy the gift of community. We participate in a number events throughout the year of which we are proud.
Since 2012 we have marched with the “Loving Lutherans” contingent at the Seattle Pride Parade to show our love and support of the LBGTQIA+ community.
Since 2006 we have joined the Wedgwood Business Districts annual Halloween event by hosting “Trunk or Treat” in front of the Wedgwood Broiler Restaurant. We pass out thousands of pieces of candy to hundreds of kids in costumes. We love seeing the creativity and joining such a festive event.
We also serve our community by volunteering at the North Helpline Food Bank and helping other local groups like the Hunger Intervention Program, Seattle Housing and Resource Effort, and Lutheran Community Services Northwest.
